Oh yes, that does sound painful. Although I can cope quite well with hot chili thanks to Frank's cooking. At least compared to most Germans I cope with them quite well.

It was alright actually ... hot but not the hottest curry I have ever had. I wonder how much of the pepper was actually in it though.

I don't think there's anywhere you can buy just the peppers. I gather they can be quite dangerous to handle

I had a ghost chilli peanut once, some friends had them on the table as nibbles before dinner. Thankfully they warned me before I shoved a huge handful into my gob.
One was enough. My eyes are still watering.

I am not sure I'd buy it again simply cos the flavour of the sauce wasn't as good as a vindaloo, though the heat was comparable. Iceland do a great vindaloo.
