So there's this new pizza chain in my area called Firestorm. They're like a Subway for pizza. You can get a cheese for $5.50, a one-topping (cheese plus a topping) for $6.50, or a whatever-you-feel-like-piling-on for $7.95. I got the last option because I wanted something with an extra cheese, tomatoes, and olives. I ended up with chicken, ricotta, feta, halved cherry tomatoes, spinach, green olives, and black olives. Best pizza ever so far.
Anyone else have something similar? Maybe this is an old thing and I've never noticed.

Nope. However, I have discovered that you can order pretty exciting gourmet pizzas from Pizza Hut's website that you cannot order in store for some reason.

Pizza Hut in the UK have a "build your own" with up to 4 toppings. It's not quite the same ... but it's Little Miss JoeP's go-to option.

Most pizza stores round here have a build your own Same here. But the pizza stores here that let you build your own also charge more for each topping. Firestorm is like Subway. If you pay for the make-your-own, they don't charge for however many toppings you want.

I like my pizzas traditional style most of the time, which means minimal topping. It's all about the pizza base and the sauce and hopefully some good buffalo mozarella. But occasionally I do like what I call a "junk pizza" which is all the other sorts. Then I usually like the vegetarian which has capsicum and mushrooms and onions and tomato and cheese. Usually if you want to add topping they'll charge you extra per topping, but since they also offer so many options you generally could just choose one of theirs and maybe only need to add one or two things at most.
