I like mayo for sandwiches, fries and tater tots. I voted for that because of all-around utility. But picking a favorite condiment really depends on what you're serving it with. Very few condiments are any good on their own.

Wikipedia defines them as bite-sized hash browns, which is accurate. They're wonderful, and they turn out much better in the oven than fries do.

So is bread sauce actually saucy? Or is it like full of lumpy bits of bread? Or is it actually not really a sauce at all?

Yes, it's a sauce. You rub the pieces of bread in your hands until they crumble very finely into millimetre size balls. Only possible if the bread is old and dry. Best if you wash your hands first.

Or even easier would be one of those pulse-y things like I use to grind my nuts.

When bread sauce was last in vogue, there were no grinder things.

I thought that bread sauce was STILL in vogue - isn't it a traditional Christmas thing?
But now I have a strange image of RB grinding nuts.

Ask Frank for his opinion on grinding nuts...
