I had peri-peri chicken. Also yummy.
Served, to my puzzlement, with a little pot of pumpkin seeds.

Peri peri anything is pretty good. Did you make it yourself? ( I assume not, as you had not know about the pumpkin seeds)

peri peri is a spicy type thing ... often used with chicken.
RB is your tummy weird cos of the bun or did you have the bun cos your tummy was weird?

It started feeling weird yesterday. I think I picked up some sort of bug. It was DG that started it. I was feeling completely fine all day. Then yesterday evening I had pains in my stomach and felt like I might be sick. This morning it was still feeling like it so I called in sick cos I didn't want to be running to the loo all day at work, plus I felt a bit dizzy. But it seems to be lessening now. I ate the bun cos I felt that would be easy enough on my stomach and I was hungry.

Definitely. Naughty DG! Peri peri or piri piri is a spicy sauce, as Ms Moose says, and also the type of bird's-eye chilli pepper that it's made from. The sauce is supposed to be Portuguese in origin although I suspect it's more Portuguese colonies in Africa that Portugal. Very popular in South Africa and has expanded around the world. I got it delivered along with a bunch of other frozen meals because I felt like an easy life

It doesn't? It should get minced into smaller pieces so it's easier to swallow... I love raw carrot, but my stomach does not. Unfortunately I won't know if I've reached my limit until I start getting stomach aches a couple of hours later.

Several large carrots a day. Or five medium-sized ones. 20mg of beta-carotene a day.
Apparently babies can get orange noses if they eat too much pureed carrot and/or sweet potato.
