It's warmer than it has been but there's snow forecast - that said, I'll believe it when I see it. I have a nice snuggly water bottle and a cat or two.

It is sunny and sorta warm.
NO! Cleo, it is NOT warm enough to leave the door open for you to come and go as you please. If you're going out, you're staying out!
Until the next time she wants in.
The sun is shining and I spied my neighbor dog-walking in his shorts, albeit with a fleece vest.
It's 16 C.

So why did your neighbour need a fleece vest?

So why did your neighbour need a fleece vest? Not sure, but he is a transplanted Aussie.

Sunny today, but still windy here. Are you going to get snow?

'Tis a gorgeous day...Bright and sunny with just a few puffy white clouds. Dry and cool. The walkways are filled with pedestrians.

Very windy. The aftermath of storm Ciara. Apparently we need to name our storms now too. *rolls eyes*

I just checked Ventusky for the Whitehaven situation....-2 C with 25 mph westerlies, gusting to 40 mph.
Ouch...cutting.
They are predicting snow before sunrise, though. If you like snow.

I do like snow but it's not terribly practical

At that rate, the falling snow is likely to be moving sideways.

It's -2 in Montreal today and they're still cleaning up after the dump of snow last week. It's a far cry from Costa Rica. Sigh.

Yeah....I'll bet Costa Rica had it cleaned up in a jiffy. Well....Would have. So, you're back at pastoral servitude after your foray south?

At least they were of such small moment that they allowed you to escape in the first place.

The wind has been building up slowly since late morning (it was very calm to start with) and now it's raining. But not nearly as heavily, yet, as last weekend.
I think the worst effects within the UK are in the western parts.

Here, it rains. Drippy. It is cold, too.
The drear is here.
This is what February normally is around here. What we have had to date is way out of wack.
