Murray is a big fan of the butt-munch, as I'm relieved I'm not the only catthrall who uses that term. Of course, we just call the 'Kali Ma' ordinary 'Belly Rubs', of which Murray is a total addict. He will never spring the hand trap, he just wants more and more belly rubs. He is a through and through cream puff. Cleo, on the other hand, has limited tolerance for belly rubs and will spring the handtrap and use her considerable claws.

You've got to be careful of the Kali Ma. I can do it on Pip but on Luthy it is a total no no - she does the hand trap and furthermore often bites.
All of them like the flute.

Murray is not impressed with the flute....of course, he's a stub. He gives stub lub.
I don't see the 'facepalm'....I guess they consider it a derivation of the 'brain eater'? Any way, Murray loves to have me enclose his face in my hand...he'll even fall asleep that way.
The typical progression is 'brain eater' to 'airplane' to multiple 'butt-munches' while he is in 'down-dog' yoga pose, until he flops over and presents his belly for bellyrubs....Kali Ma. When my attention wanes, I get paw taps or headbutts, depending upon whether my hand is available.

For both my cats, I rub their fur briskly back and forth. I don't see that variation in the pic.

Both of mine love it. It's their preferred method!

Cleo likes the nose to tip of tail, 'wring out the bad juju' type of pets. Kind of an intense Airplane.
Her fave is not petting but standing on your shoulder, alternating between pressing her butt to the back of your head and stroking your head with her face.

My little Boo kitty does NOT like her tail touched, but I pet it anyway. With the butt-munch, she tolerates but licks her mane as I scratch. I usually do under the chin, nose to neck, and massage therapy. She really goes for the therapy treatment. Have I posted a pic of Boo Sophia?

My kitties like numbers 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11 & 12. Oprah sometimes bites once she's had enough and Tybbe enjoys it so much that he wants to return the pleasure by washing my hand (which I hate). Puck doesn't care as long as he gets attention.

Murray is a tux; a short-tailed tux. Boo is what I call a 'fluffy tux'.
I have typified Murray's fur as being more 'well-washed flannel' soft, while Cleo's fur is more 'silky' soft. Hers lies closer to her body, while his seems to have a bulkier undercoat. They are both shorthairs and their fur is exquisite....they are spoiled and it shows in their fur (and Murray's excess weight).

Luthy has lovely, silky fur. Pip has always had skin problems though so his can be a bit hit and miss

Out of a litter of 7 kitties, Boo was the only long-haired kitty.

All of mine have different kind of furs and builds, but I love petting all of them.

I got a small shock yesterday in a Facebook ad: A perfect picture of Boo. Same coloring, same markings. The two cats are so identical it's scary.

If you've ever posted a picture of him, it's perfectly possible it IS Boo. Facebook can use uploaded pictures for commercial purposes.

But I didn't post any pictures of her in the pose the cat was in. I couldn't see the eyes clearly enough to see if it had a gold spot in the left eye. I don't really care, it's just eerie.
