Won't be long before the shops start putting out their Christmas stuff again *evil grin*

Stop it. Let's enjoy summer first, please? *glances out window at dark clouds and rain*

I think Moosie *did* enjoy summer ... it was *last* week.

I refuse to think about it - until September 1st when all the Christmas stuff suddenly appears in the shops.

I refuse to think about it until December. I hate all the hype before Christmas, it totally spoils it for me.

I feel like I need a long build up to christmas for it to feel christmassy. Lots of summer day and beach and barbecue. Used to be good when I was younger and the summer streched out in front of you. Now blink, and it's gone. Back then, I didn't have to work right up to christmas eve of course.

This thread seems to me the exact copy of the thread you created last year around this time with similar responses...

We need some traditions in our lives.

Yes, I have just agreed the dates and timings for all the festivities at Quagmire with my Ministry Leadership Team - only just in time for some of our deadlines, I might add.

Surely the dates don't change all that much from year to year?
