I've been craving scrambled egg lately and I don't know why. Is there something in eggs that my body is aware that it needs?

Eggs have lots of vitamins. But I doubt it. It's probably a mental thing. Or you're pregnant.

What's really happening is your body is saying it's too long until next Easter.

A reliable source of protein or salt that your body knows? If you had never had scrambled eggs you might be craving something else?

I would just ignore it unless you are craving Cadbury eggs.

I eat way too much salt as it is so I doubt it's salt craving. And I am definitely not pregnant *looks firm on this*.
Oooh but lovely buttered eggs with a bit of cheese ...

Karelian pasties with egg butter (egg butter not shown ... it's chopped boiled egg with butter, dolloped on top) Yummy in a comforting way.

After a day at my grandmother's I tend to crave fruit and vegetables. She feeds us with lots of sweeties and cake.

A couple of years ago I got addicted to cocoa nibs (you get them from health food shops). I had to have some with me at all times.
Then I discovered I was anaemic and went on iron tablets, and the craving for nibs disappeared. I haven't had any (or wanted any) since. Weird.

Interesting. I had a penchant for years for tomatoes but now ive gone off them. I wonder if that's the same thing.
And does my fondness for alcohol mean that beer contains nutrients that I'm lacking?

And does my fondness for alcohol mean that beer contains nutrients that I'm lacking? That must be it. Beer is a dietary supplement. Cheers!

I've heard people say two beers replace a slice of bread.

So, two beers, some cheese and ham, then two more beers ... equals a quick sandwich.

Beer probably has some good things in it, though alas probably not in the quantities that I like to enjoy it

I don't miss drinking beer. Mainly,I used to drink it because it was cheap and everybody liked it, so I felt like I had to like it too. But to be honest, it was never one of my favourite drinks.

If beer grows on you, you should really consider getting a more recent batch...

I have to be in the mood for beer, but sometimes I really am. Yeah, I can relate to that. I don't normally drink beer, but under conditions of extended outdoor warmth, I can crave a cold beer. I have also noticed that beer/ale works as a functional soporific for me.
