I could just do with a smoked salmon sandwich at the moment. Cream cheese. Maybe even slightly brown bread, even though I normally have whtie.

I had a cream cheese and cashew nut sandwich earlier on. It was ... interesting. Quite pleasant but I might not do it again.

Maybe cashew nut butter on toast would work

Cashew nut butter on a butter knife works just fine.

Wrong! Lox is liquid oxygen Okay... So, where's the schmear tank?
|
|
|
Post by tangent on Dec 12, 2017 23:12:32 GMT
It's on the moon, which is full of it.
|
|
|
Post by Moose on Dec 12, 2017 23:30:46 GMT
The moon is full of lox and bagels?
|
|
|
Post by tangent on Dec 13, 2017 0:48:05 GMT
A schmear is often used to indicate a quantity of cream cheese, I believe, and since the moon is thought to be made of green cheese, that would be the logical place to hold a schmear tank.

A quantity of cream cheese, not green cheese.
Maybe it is only when you do a moon shot that you have schmear to go with your LOx.
I hadn't heard how the bagels fit in.
And....split or whole?

I had a nice sanga today. It had pumpkin and mushrooms and pesto and watercress, toasted. Oh and some sort of nut but I forgot which one.

Um...Sanga?
I didn't know that you were in to Ethiopian oxen. And why did it have all those 'trimmings'?
I looked it up and 'sanga' is an Ethiopian ox. Really.
I think I'm missing something here.
I'm just glad it was nice.

sandwich Goat. Sandwich.

Oop.
I started out with the impression it was a cold beverage....like sangria.
But the ingredients were...well, non-standard. The 'toasted' killed the cold beverage impression.
Then I made the mistake of 'looking it up'. Y'know, 'definition', on Google, which led me straight to the Ethiopian ox. Then, it was matter of imagining an Ethiopian food outlet.
But confusion set in.
Sandwich?
Like 'sammich'? Only Ozzy slyng?
