I haz one.
I haz named her 'Myria'.
I'm fairly sure that she is one of the brood which hatched from the egg sack above the PC lamp in the man cave. I mean, there were hundreds and it is only a meter or so away.
Anyways, she has taken up residence in one of the higher corners and is generating all sorts of cobwebbery.
She has been present for months already so she must be harvesting something worthwhile. And, she's high enough that she has not attracted the attention of the local felines.

I haven't seen spiders in the house for ages.
Our cats must be doing something ...

Yeah, likewise around here. But Myria seems to have cottoned to the idea of staying in the high corners, well out of fuzzwad reach.
What the fuzzwads really like is the big, slow-flying houseflies. Cleo harries them for hours, then when they run out of energy, Murray steps in for his 'hover raisen'.
(If you say 'hover raisen' fast, it sounds like some kind of Austrian dessert, ja?)
