What do you think of the new competitor for Facebook from Wiki? It looks like it might be worth while, even if you have to pay for it... Anyone signed up? wt.social/

I am not keen on paying for something but at the same time, Facebook is really taking the piss these days. A bit of healthy competition might do it a lot of good.

My daughter-in-law signed up and posted about it (on Facebook! ) She says you don't actually have to pay (and indeed my name came up as a member even though I haven't paid anything.) It's just really jammed up right now with people signing up and if you pay, you get placed in a fast lane.

All in due time, I'll sample it.
As per usual, I think that new introductions of this type need a 'shakedown period'. I'm never an early adopter...never.
I agree that the F******k platform needs competitive alternatives. Secure competitive alternatives. The Zuck sux!

Maybe. Only used Facebook to keep up with family. Not sure a competitor going to make me do another one. I don’t even use Twitter.

Facebook is a lifeline for many people but the way in which they behave is really not great. Banning too many people just for having an opinion - because they can.

Opinions are one thing but being nasty is another. They should ban nasty vulgar people. ....oh wait. I don’t pay any attention to those on there anyway so I guess it’s a non issue to me.
