As ordered by her 11 year old. Apparently the edges need another coat because I didn't do them right π

Pale blue ceilings with white detailing are classic.
I'm not sure that's what an 11 year old was going for though.

Approximately #03396c, I think.
I'm currently in Wales - tomorrow I bring back Deborah's stuff from her honeymoon - and all I've got is my mobile. So I can't display the actual colour.

944 536 Sounds like a bad movie title: A bloke with his mobile in Wales. I hope they had a good time

Like this? Quite a dark blue.

Yes, but it needs a block of colour to show it off properly.
I'm back now. The bed in the room where I stayed overnight had a soft mattress. I only slept 4Β½ hours and ended up with a sore back.

I spent some time seeing if there was a way of colouring a table background in bbcode, but it seems not.

So, I had two appointments through the post next Friday from the health service. The first was for the Phlebotomy Clinic, followed by an appointment with the specialist I have been seeing. I started to get concerned until I looked up phlebotomy. They just want a to take a blood test! Why couldn't they just say Blood Test?

They want people to be a bit in awe of the mysterious medical practices so that they are more compliant and sheeplike. But not so afraid they don't turn up.

I wasn't exactly in awe after I read this from the phlebotomy Wikipedia entry. I would prefer to have my blood taken from a trained phlebotomist if I have a choice.

I was supposed to have a blood test on Monday, the pathologist could not get any blood out my veins. She suggested I go to their other clinic who were experts. But I've been sick all week and too tired to go to the other one which is a much longer walk.

So you're saying ... you failed the blood test ...

944 527 Because of my thyroid I have to have blood tests quite regularly. There is one male nurse who always manages to leave me with bruising. I always hope he isn't on duty when I come by.

I was always getting bruised when I had blood tests in NL. I blame it on the horrible tape! I started asking for the children's tape.

Tape? How do they use tape? Do you mean that rubber band stuff that they tie on your upper arm to increase pressure?

944 520
Or the sticky tape they put on to hold the blob of cotton wool in place "for five minutes"?

944 519
Or the tape they stick over your mouth to stop you screaming?

944 518 I think she meant Joe's suggestion. The male nurse simply has horrible aim, the tape doesn't bruise me. I always tell them not to bother with the tape. I'll just manually dab the cotton blob till the bleeding stops.

I have very bad backache, which is hurting a lot. (Doesn't backache always hurt a lot?) A week ago, on Tuesday, I spent the night in a hotel in Anglesey and the bed gave me backache because it was too soft. I've had minor backache since then but today it is much worse. It will go away eventually but it's a real nuisance while it's there.

944 513 Whereas my entire pelvis area, including my lower back is aching. I have had trouble sleeping and when I toss and turn too much my body suffers. Well, me too since I get really cranky and tired when I don't get enough sleep, but my body suffers too.

I'm not a wreck, Kye, although I might be tomorrow because I had a good workout at the gym this afternoon.
