944 240 My fitbit is also missing and it's highly likely I hid that in the same place

What you need is a more memorable safe place. It's a challenge though ... safe places are notoriously forgotten, and the easier you make it to remember the more likely a burglar will think of looking there.

944 238 I have conducted three intensive searches now without any luck. I'm beginning to think a burglar snuck in and stole my keys without stealing the car Update: I have found my keys (and my Fitbit and a spare key to the drop-in centre and food bank). I had wrapped them in a small plastic bag and had slipped them into one of Pat's boxes that she last used about 20 years ago.

944 236 In other news: teething sucks. Not for me, but the little one is very out of sorts because of it. 39.5 degrees fever and all that jazz. Poor thing.

944 229 My daughter is having a hard time coming off her meds. The withdrawal is horrible.

That can be horrible, Kye. I once had an awful weekend coming off a tranquilizer (Ativan) because my doctor just stopped it dead. Fortunately, it was only for two days but the effect was quite severe.

944 227 Yes, my daughter's med is Clonazepam --in the same category as Ativan. I've been reading up on it. A very vicious little chemical!

Ugh.
Is she "tapering" - reducing the dose slowly? If that's even possible and the doctors support it.

She is tapering, but she was doing it on her own, I found out today. She decided this is not the best time to do that, since she's also dealing with some angst around a difficult breakup and issues around turning 30... She's having trouble sleeping and it's affecting her work.

944 222 She slept last night, so she's feeling better today. But she's going back on the meds for awhile. She'll need to be in a better psychological space to handle the withdrawal.

944 221 Tell her that random people on the internet are thinking of her. That might not help, it might make her feel more anxious True ... but I was assuming Kye would translate that into "people you haven't met but I have"
