Which reminds me I need to soak my sultanas in orange juice so they get nice and plump before putting them in my carrot cake tomorrow.

I mean, I don't think any sort of blackmailing is very nice. DG not listening to you is not very nice either. Blackmail is a necessary evil; a means to an end; a small sacrifice for a great gain. If it works. Blackmail is pretty fucking awful actually. If it happens between partners, I'd say it's time to pack up.

Since a couple of days ago the floating bar doesn't take me to the op of the next or previous page, but to any random point on that next or previous page. Really annoying. Did an admin fiddle with anything?

I don't always get the floating bar on my iPad but when I do it seems to work as expected.

I get the same thing, where the page changes, but the position remains. They have tried to do too many "clever" things and not done many by basic, reliable methods.
I suspect browser differences and lack of proper testing to be the culprit.

Well, my Firefox DID update not too long ago, so that may have caused the change, because it did work properly at first.

Ah. What version are you on Mari? 23.1 or something? I'm on 23.0 and have not seen this problem.

Not sure if I would allow that to be called an update if it steals your options.

I'm not seeing any problems yet. If there are, it will be a problem with javascript or DOM rather than an intentional removal of features. But it wouldn't be the first time something "newer and better" in the IT world takes away options. The 'start' button in windows 7 --> 8 for example ...
