If you've never heard of Tau, don't worry.. I've never heard of it myself till an hour ago.. but I'm already finding it more attractive. What should I do?

I decided on tau when I was a teenager but since then I reverted back to pi.
(It wasn't called anything then, I just decided it was logical.)

What about e or φ?
No, actually I mean bacon ... OK, seriously, it's π.

I'm quite fond of e. Why is that not an option?

Tau and Pi are related to each other. e is something else, as is i!

Well yes. But what if you like neither as much as e? Or i? Or j, or k either?

Well yes. But what if you like neither as much as e? Or i? Or j, or k either? We will accept e or i but not j or k *sniffs*

But but why not???
You can't do 6- dimensional transformations with only one plane of imaginary numbers!

i and j are the same, but the latter is used by electrical engineers (like myself) to keep from getting confused with the use of the former as the symbol for electrical current. I'm a big fan of Euler's formula, which relates e, i, and Pi:
