Mine is currently at the peak of iris bloom and the roses have just begun their first bloom of the season. I'm on light duty due to pruning, followed by hand sickling, and consequent midback muscle spasms.

That's a blaze of glory compared to mine!
But at least I've managed to avoid injuring myself ...

Mine is a great big overgrown mess. I paid someone ten days ago to come and sort it out and they didn't show. Looks like I will have to pay twice

Mine is currently getting very deep with grass. I had hoped to attack it today with the lawnmower, but the rains came down in abundance.

We had rains in abundance last week. Did batter some of the then open iris blooms. A set of real gullywashers.

So...I cleared the front walk of unsightly intrusive grass and weeds yesterday. Today, I took a morning trip over to the nursery and stocked up on rudebeckia, a couple of coneflowers, a selection of herbs, and an eclectic collection of 'maters. I got one each 'Oregon Spring', 'San Lorenzo' Romas, yellow pears, 'Supersteak', and 'Chef's Choice' in the ground. I still have a 'Black Prince' and some other red slicer.

I still have a lot of green. Most of my blooms are Summer blooms. My first strawberry is getting a blush though.

Very pretty. We only have a balcony and haven't done anything planty with it yet though I would like to get some herbs and some other plants. Will also help cut out a bit of noise I think.

We don't have a garden, that is the only thing I miss about living in a rented flat in the city.

I only have a few rudbeckia plants to place. Other than those, all is in-ground now.

Everything is growing like crazy here. My kampher is about to bloom, all the fruits are getting ready to be picked and the Spring blooms are blooming happily.

So...Here it is just past my natal anniversary and the jasmine is in full bloom, the grapes are producing fruit, as are the tomatoes, the day lilies, clematis, honeysuckle, Rose of Sharon, crocosmia, echinancea, and the rudbeckia are all in bloom as well. Roses are scattered with blooms, but mostly are working on the next bloom.

I grew a sweetpea from some seed, not really knowing what to expect... it grew a great deal larger than expected!

Have you blooms with that spendiferous scent?

I haven't really smelled anything yet, not even my camphor which is supposed to smell real nice. I did notice that those pods create a very sticky and gooey substance on the ground.

I love the scent of sweetpeas. Along with jasmine, roses, alyssum, and honeysuckle.

Mine is still a mess, but less of a mess than it was!
