Yuki, I saw this tweet attached to the article you linked above. Is this a thing? Do muslim men believe they won't go to heaven if they are killed by a woman?

To be honest, it was the first time I heard of such a thing.. it could be just a superstition among ISIS fighters..

Do you have any proof of this? I read a few articles in national newspapers before the Internet was commonplace and before this sort of thing was readily quotable, in particular: - A report that made nuclear weapons inspector's hairs stand on the back of their heads a couple of years after the original Iraq war in 2003.
- A newspaper article about a supposed attack on the south of England that turned out to be a false alarm (which I interpreted to be a dry run).
You'll just have to take my word for it that I've quoted the articles I read as accurately as I can. As for my conclusions, they are realistic even if you don't agree with them, but what if I'm right? Stevee you don't seem to have quoted them at all. This really seems like heresay.

and what on earth do you mean about the internet not being commonplace in 2003?

Bastards And shame on certain sections of the British press who are using this to stir up hatred against all Muslims. They do not do it to Christians when stories about WBC emerge. I have spoken to many of my Muslim friends and not one has any support for Isis. The DM for instance keeps going on about how five hundred young British Muslims have gone to Syria to join Isis. So HOW many millions does that mean have not gone?

It's a very mixed up mess of people blindly following tyrants. I can't believe that people like me here are joining ISIS. Why would I want to go there and wear all that? .. .. I call them Tents. Gee I get up in the morning and don't feel like combing my hair just put on a tent.

I think it's mainly the ladies who wear the tents...

The Kurds have taken back Kobane. Though Kobane seems to be just a pile of ruins now. www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-31088684If only that was true. I truly wish the death of all IS warriors. IS is all evil. And many people now feel suspicious to all Muslims b/c of those blood thirsty jihadists. Though they kill Muslims too, if they don't follow their interpretations of Islam.

They say that about 300 Swedish citizens have gone to war as jihadists. And what will happen when some of them return? Some will continue their war by terrorist attacks. It will happen and it could be in any West European country. It is not like I fear Sweden or any other European country will be a part of the Caliphate. But people will die... I have a hard time trying to understand why young men want to go to war, to kill and torture and risk being killed themselves. But obviously they don't value their own lives here on earth much. What we find deterring, they find attractive. www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-29123528IS have got a lot of money too. www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-30393832

I agree with a certain amount of this. It is certainly true that Western civilisation has a large number of ills and that Westernisation has resulted in injustices felt by Muslims across the world today. And it is a failure to acknowledge this that alienates Western civilisation from the Muslim world and the Muslim world from Western civilisation. America has an agenda to spread its ideology throughout the Muslim world, whether it be through MacDonald's restaurants, jeans or pornography scantily clad women. Muslims hate having American ideology thrust upon them and will always feel alienated.

America has an agenda to spread its ideology throughout the Muslim world, whether it be through MacDonald's restaurants, jeans or pornography scantily clad women. Muslims hate having American ideology thrust upon them and will always feel alienated. The Muslim world has the same agenda in general as well. At least in the West self-questioning and self-criticism are allowed and encouraged, which is not the case in the Muslim world. There are too many topics off-limit, which in fact are the very topics that have to be raised if there's any hope to bring the region out of its backwardness. Not all cultures are created equal in my opinion. Some adopted values that favor rationality, tolerance and openness, the very values that we need to survive this century, while other ones did not. In the 19th century, Japan learned that they had to adapt their culture to the modern age if they wanted to have a competitive edge against the West, and so they did and they succeeded. The Muslim world has to do the same instead of upholding their "superiority" and pretending that they don't need the West, when in fact they depend on it (and on other developed countries) in almost everything.

Just quit buying their oil. Then they won't be a problem. They can go back to being tribes. It all exhausts me to be honest.
