959 196 959 205 I absolutely run out of Christmas gift idea for my husband A decree has gone out to the entire Fam. Ugluk-Smyth that I no longer wish to be given Christmas presents, unless they are very consumable, there is enough clutter in the presbytery as it is - I am working on clearing it out and have no wish whatever to put my executors in the same place, when the time comes, as I was with my elderly aunt's house two years ago: great piles of content and me having no idea at all about the significance of most of it.

959 195 That's the problem. We don't lack anything. And the attic has so much rubbish to be cleared off. Kids always love to have new toys and books, so I always get them these for Christmas.

959 186 Good idea, even though it's now Sunday! I was just going to do scrambled egg on toast, but I will upgrade it a bit. Didn't get proper food last night as I was out late, visiting someone I'd not seen for about 9 years.

The heat stopped working in my church last night and hence in my house. Why do these things always happen on the weekend just before the Sunday services??!!

Blue is OK ... but we have sparkly purple, it kinds shimmers in the candlelight ... St. George & All Dragons has this giant Advent Ring made of wrought iron and slung from the roof by chains (do true and remember this is Mordor we are talking about) I really do not feel 100% confortable standing underneath ... or anywhere near ...

Me too, sometimes. I tend to have oatmeal instead of bread quite often. Still carbs, bit I heard those are healthier.
