One of Pip's ... well not his eye but the bit over his eye (eyelid?) is looking a little red and inflamed. Is this something to worry about? Any self help remedies?

Mr. You sometimes gets slight problems. We put camomile tea on his eye then which, so far, has always helped. Just let it cool down first.

Has he been in an argument with your other cat? It could be a cat scratch. They normally heal up after a couple of days, if not it's over to the PDSA for a shot of antibiotic from the vet.

Mr. You always closed the eye so the cotton tip didn't get in the eye, but the liquid did.
