A spokesperson for UKIP chided the BBC earlier for displaying bias by conducting a straw poll asking for opinions on the party outside of a 'London Mosque.' Unfortunately for them, the 'mosque' in question was Westminster Abbey...

I've been checking up on the backgrounds of the declared candidates for the forthcoming election.
Even if I 100% supported UKIP ( which I don't ) I couldn't vote for the moron they have put up.
Stone me I've got turds in the cat litter tray with higher IQ's

The motorcycle group I am a member of has been on a drive this year to get MPs more involved with the realities of bikes and, amongst many other things, protect riders from the insanity of badly thought out (mostly EU) legislation. They have signed up at least 35 other MPs as members. This week, Nigel Farage joined and, as he was the first party leader to have done so, it was treated as news. Sadly, many people are taking that as a massive negative, outweighing all the positive progress, even though he would have no power in the organisation above any other individual member. There are some who even say they will leave if he is a member, not recognising the irony of it and the fact that, if nothing else, it is unconstitutional. MAG is a non-political organisation, but UKIP's reputation can act like a poisoned chalice!
