Has anyone been watching the BBC America show Orphan Black? I just finished season 3. I believe they are available also on Netflix.
I find the story(ies) captivating enough, but it is worth watching just for the superb performance of the lead, Tatiana Maslany, who, thanks to playing multiple characters, is in pretty much every scene. She is so good at making the characters she plays different and clearly individual that it took me a while to realized she played them all.
What's amazing is that everything else about the characters is different - accents, speaking styles, mannerisms, etc. What's fun is when one of the characters has to impersonate one of the other characters and Tatiana Maslany does a great job of showing one character only just managing to pretend to be another identical person.

I watched the first season recently. Thought it was smart and well performed. Also saw a couple episodes into the second season but the story is starting to feel a little stretched. I really enjoyed that the characters never seemed to do the totally stupid things but actually behaved the way you might expect a person to behave when confronted with such situations. I think after season one my fave version was "soccer mum".
The sight filled the northern sky; the imensity of it was scarcely conceivable. As if from Heaven itself, great curtains of delicate light hung and trembled. Pale green and rose-pink, and as transparent as the most fragile fabric, and at the bottom edge a profound fiery crimson like the fires of Hell, they swung and shimmered loosely with more grace than the most skillful dancer. ~ Northern Lights
Yes, Allison's stories continue to branch out and be rather separate from her sisters', also season 3 she has had her own (funny) thing going on with very little crossover into the Sarah/Cosima/Helena stuff. She is good, though I still have to say Helena is my fave.
