I know that it isn't long since my beloved dog died but my parents decided to get a new puppy. They said that it would be better to get one quickly to 'cheer us up'. And although I still miss my Honey, Toffee is a lovely addition. Attachments:

Cute. My parents got a puppy as well quite soon after our dog Lizzy had died. His name is Michi and he is 6 years old now.

He's a cutie! It probably is best to move on with a new pet otherwise it's just depressing and leaves a hole in your heart.

Awww, cute! When Silly died, my mum said she wanted to take some time to get over it, but she couldn't handle the quiet and Binkie was brought home not a week later. Binkie is gone now too though and because of work, they didn't get a new dog, but it leaves you a lot of room to miss him.
