Can't we have the South forums back? That would stimulate conversation. Someone good with buttons put em back?

Apart from Theology & Philosophy, which we already have, we had the following under Serious Debate: Social Customs and Moral Values International Politics Languages History Health, Well-Being and Fitness Art NC-17 I'm not sure we want all of these (languages, history and art were less well sponsored than the others). We could also add Science & Technology and/or Space Exploration. We also had Travel & Geography, Literature and Europe General not in the Serious Debate section.

It would be nice to have those back.

Perhaps some of them can be grouped together, especially the small ones? For example 'Culture' should cover art, language and history nicely.

I dunno if space exploration would get much traffic. Are any of us going to be exploring space soon?

You keep declining to come and visit Col and I because you don't like traveling in winter! Which planet are you going to?

I have added three boards to the Fun stuff category and created a Serious stuff category: Fun stuff Nostalgia Culture - Languages, History, Art Health, Well-Being and Fitness Serious stuff Social Customs and Moral Values International Politics We have a lot of stuff in Fun stuff which isn't exactly fun but neither is it as serious as moral values and politics. Any suggestions? I dunno if space exploration would get much traffic. Are any of us going to be exploring space soon? Doubt it. We could keep it with the science-y stuff. I was trying to generate some enthusiasm

Would I be fully protected from cold and wet weather? No drafts around my face or extremities.

I'm enthusiastic about space stuff, tangent. I just think it'll do better in with the other science posts.

You can only be protected to a certain point, but you'd not have so much wind hitting you, as the driver takes the brunt of it. Low temperatures and windchill are a significant problem for me. Yesterday, I walked a quarter of mile down the road when the temperature, adjusted for windchill, was 2°C and today my face is hurting from the cold.

I've found that my helmet keeps my head warm enough and my jacket and waterproof trousers keeps my body warm. I have heated grips for my hands, but the only part that gets really cold now is my feet, which I have almost sorted out. If I had a hundred or so pounds to spare I could get some better boots, but that's still on hold for now. At least as a passenger you don't have to worry about misting up your visor so much! To be honest, you don't really strike me as the motorbike type! ;D

Not now but I did when I was younger. I enjoyed the freedom and it was a lot cheaper than a car. I used to cycle a lot too.

Frank and I cycle a lot. I often cycle to university which takes me about 45 minuts if I don't hurry too much.
