No, to be honest I am sure he is a perfectly decent chap who loved his mother and was kind to animals but I am fascinated to see the way he has tried to develop his evil non-Grease side in recent films.
This thought was prompted by watching the remake of The Taking of Pelham 123 the other night: the same nasty character again. I thought that the shots of the subway trains were better thought through than the older version of the film but that the plot was disappointingly distant from the original book and not nearly as tense as the first film version.

Maybe it's a reaction to / trying to avoid being type cast in 'nice' roles but it's gone too far the other way.

My mum used to jokingly call them John Revolting and Olivia Neutron Bomb.

I'm looking for my video with Grease on it. I wanted to watch it recently and I just can't seem to find it

It was on TV here a few weeks ago. Was the first time I saw it in its entirety in one go (if you ignore me taking Honey for an hour's walk in the middle and then watching the +1 channel for the rest).

Really? I grew up with Grease, Hair, Fame, Jesus Christ Superstar, Annie, etc. I still love musicals, also the old ones with Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby. I really love his voice and his films

I've had the sound-track to Grease for a long time and know almost all of the songs, but I just hadn't seen the film. It confused the hell out of Tracy when I came home one day and it was just getting to the end and I knew the words to "We go together"

Isn't he a Scientologist? Not a fan Yes, I do believe he is. According to the wiki, he was Roman Catholic up to 1975, and then converted.

Heh. I read that as 1795 at first. If that was true then maybe there would be something in it! ...or at least a painting of him in the attic that keeps getting older!

Well she was fairly easy to like really. I never really warmed to it either on stage on screen, possibly because the culture it came from seemed really alien to me.
