Yeah I know it's been done before but hey! breakfast. You can never spend too much time talking about breakfast.
I rarely eat a cooked breakfast but I must admit that I do love a full English. Bacon (preferably rindless smoked back), good quality pork sausages, fried or scrambled eggs, baked beans, a hash brown and grilled or fried tomatoes .. awesome. Some people also add fried mushrooms, black pudding and fried bread but I don't like those things all that much. Mustard - English for preference - and ketchup is a must. And lots of buttered toast.

Some people insist on salmon as part of the breakfast. Possibly with the scrambled eggs, which is quite a good combination.

And what do you drink with it? Juice, coffee, tea, Bucks Fizz? All of these?

I could not stomach anything fried early in the morning, lunch is the earliest. The closes I come to a cooked breakfast would be an instant porridge.

On Friday morning I finally got to have breakfast at the Hardware Societe in Melbourne CBD. I had baked egg with chorizo and other stuff in it. Plus I shared a fried brioche with lemon curd and soft meringue and fruit. And I had tea and fresh orannge juice. It was pretty delicious. Well worth going.
In the Philippines I did not enjoy breakfast at all. Their idea of bread is some sort of white cardboard thing - is that an American thing? With weird fruity stuff that doesn't resemble jam; and the rest consists of rice and meat and soup. They favour sticky rice.

There was a great breakfast buffet at our resort in Mexico. They had some traditional Mexican items, some fresh fruit, some toast, French toast and pancakes, and a station where you could order eggs however you wanted them. I had a hard time deciding what to eat first, and I usually ate way more than I needed to. Sigh. I miss those breakfasts. At home I have coffee and a banana.

smoked salmon and scrambled egg is good .. ordinary salmon would not work though.
I usually drink coffee with a good brekkie but like I said, I don't have one all that often.

Coffee, black, is my preferred beverage. Juice happens to me occasionally; there is a list of acceptable juices. Ice water makes a rare appearance.

Ice water for breakfast? That seems acceptable only in very hot places.

It is a personal idiosyncrasy.
After crossing the Asian landmass, there were two things which, for a month, I had not had that I desired: ice water and a green salad.

I prefer to have breakfast later in the morning if I can. If I have to have breakfast early, it's either a slice of toast or cereal or porridge. A "full English" would be ok around lunchtime, but not before.

I don't rush, myself.
What I really eat for breakfast is usually either hot oatmeal with maple syrup and almond milk, or cold Honey Nut Cheerios with almond milk.
And the coffee, of course.

I had a banana and a cup of tea for breakfast this morning. I've just finished a mid morning ham sandwich, which I can't call lunch because it's too early.

You posted that just before mid-day so I don't see why you can't call it lunch

I would love to eat bananas for breakfast, or any time, but ever since my pregnancies even the thought of them make me feel sick.
As I now have to take pills with a meal I try to force myself to have at least toast or porridge in the mornings, but it isn't easy. I forgot the pill after dinner last night and so took it a couple of hours afterwards, and now I feel very queasy. But then both mornings and meals tend to make me feel nauseated anyway, so could be unrelated to my medications.
That said, if I am at work, I often have my lunch around 11 or so, but then I am at the office by 7.30 in the morning.

If only there were an app that knew when I was actually having my dinner or breakfast rather than telling me when I should have it...

*looks nosey* what's the pills for? Sulphasalazine, to treat rheumatoid joint inflammations and other autoimmunities, for me specifically psoriatic arthritis.

Doesn't sound nice -I mean the reason for taking pills. I have to take two every day. One in the mornong, but not with a meal. I have to wait for half an hour after having taken it before I can eat. Which is fine, just the coffee I can't wait with. And one at night. I hate having to take pills regularly.

The problem for me is having to eat at certain times of the day, as eating tends to cause nausea, cramps and general discomfort. So eating within several hours before bedtime is out, and the mornings are bad as I feel sick enough then (and just don't have the time to eat either) and would prefer to wait with eating until lunch. But taking the pills at noon and 6-7 pm seems a bit to close together.
So I had a porridge this morning while driving to work. Naughty.
