Let's have some pics of trees here . I haven't finished mine - predictably the lights are broken so I am going to need to get some more - but I'll post a pic when it's done (don't hold your breath it always looks a mess). I'd love to see other people's too.

More of an empty space. I may yet get a tree.

We don't have a tree since we won't spend Christmas here, but we have some fir sprigs that we decorated. I could post a picture of those later. I got them from a pupil's father which was really nice.

I'll be putting up the tree in about two weeks. But I am working on decorating an advent wreath and can put up pics of that when I'm finished.

I finished the Advent Wreath!
But now photobucket is being a pain and won't actually let me upload the photo of it.

I bought new lights, battery powered, LED. Both sets have now died. Great.

No tree 'til Christmas Eve! That's the way it is in Germany, but I have to admit that I liked seeing the trees earlier in England. By the time we arrived there (18th of December) we could see them through the windows in many houses. That way people can enjoy them for a bit longer. One American friend once put a tree up in November, though. I thought that was a bit early.

I've posted a picture of my tree on Facebook but don't know how to do it here. I used to have Imageshack but that doesn't seem to work any more. Can't be arsed to sign up for anything else.

You can link it direct from facebook --although I don't know if your non-friends can see it.

It's a bit straggly and a funny shape, but then it spends the rest of the year at the bottom of the garden, getting blown over in the gales.
It's getting too big so it may have to be retired after this Christmas, but I don't know where to put it. I don't really want a pine in my garden, it grows about 8" a year.
