A small bit of wet snow fell yesterday, but it didn't stick.

Yesterday, after a dull start, there was a blue sky with only a few clouds. We took Claudia and Frank to Lyme Park and had a walk around the lake and the stables.

No white Christmas but today we had snow on the ground. It is really dark when it is now snow, it is black night at 4 pm.

We have close to 40 cm of snow now and it's still falling. My dog used to love the snow but now she's refusing to go out in it.

There's about 1cm of snow here - it's not melting since the temperature is below freezing all the time. Apparently there will be lots more snow after I go home.

Only 25 degrees above normal according to the European press. That might be because we measure the temperature in Celsius.
