He is being embarrassing on race. He is not saying anything - he is just blustering and he does not look at all comfortable on the subject.

What's this thing about Obama not being bor in USA?
As far as I can see the American president does not have to be born in USA, it is enough that he is born an American citizen:
But some Trump followers probably want to believe that Obama is not a legitimate president, so they will not hold that against him. Same thing with the denial of global warming; they want to believe that it is a bluff.
According to Swedish newspapers Clinton won the debate but they say that this is from our point of view. It is difficult to understand how Americans are thinking. Those who love Trump will still love Trump, the question is how the undecided think.

Did America's liquor stores run out of beer after the debate?

Trump went on for years about Obama supposedly not being a US citizen. I don't think he's ever apologised.

The most exiting bit for me was when Hilary got Trump to finally admit he doesn't pay taxes, and say it in a way that is insulting to those of us who do.

I think the Trump believers just thinks that this shows what a smart businessman Trump is and therefore the right man to rule USA.
I've read that we live in the "post-truth" era now, what is true is not important any more. Otherwise Trump would not have gotten away with his lies.
There will be more debates. But however Trump behaves (interrupts) and whatever he says, there is till a big risk he will be the next US president. It is like a big cloud at the horizon, darkening the future.

I was watching an analysis of it on British TV earlier and it pointed out that as there are many Americans - most of whom are Trump supporters - who dislike federal government, the impact of his admission - and it was an admission - that he did not pay taxes was probably a lot less serious for them than it would be if one of our politicians admitted such a thing. Which is pretty sad.

It wouldn't bother me so much if people who were rich and crooked enough to use loopholes to get out of paying their taxes, if there were a way to keep them from using the infrastructure that the rest of us are paying for.
I'm sorry, Sir Trump, but our agreement was that in lieu of paying taxes, you forfeit your right to use the government highway systems, the government power grid, the government provided water, (and I would mention schools, too, but I can tell you haven't used those). Instead you must walk, swim, or levitate everywhere you need to go, or else create your own construction company to build your own personal roads, dig a well and carry water to your dwelling, as well as using an outhouse. In case of fire you must employ your own personal fire department, oh, and your own police force, ambulance service... etc.

I was quite surprised to see people in facebook defending not paying taxes. Makes no sense to me.

We pay to have justice done. If you pay nothing, you get no justice. "I'll sue!" is an empty threat without a court to hear it, much less uphold his delusions.

Good point! He does seem to get more than his fair share of court use.

Just to reiterate, I am dying to see if he will sue the New York Times. I suspect not.
I wonder what he thinks about when he's 'alone in his bed'
