I heard today on the radio. I'm sorry too. Are your friends and family OK?

Yes, I talked to my cousins. One of them was on her way on an errand to Drottninggatan (where it happened) but got tired and turned back home. Another one was nearby and suddenly met a lot of people running away in panic. Then buses and trains did not go so many people including my relative were trapped. Everything was chaotic. The police said "Stay inside". They said to people in the train station "Get out of here!" Where, people wondered but this was not something the police answered. There are now four dead. A 39 year old man from Uzbekistan is arrested. An acquaintance said "He was just an ordinary hard working construction worker, sending home money to his family in Uzbekistan. He did not seem religious either, he drank alcohol." www.theguardian.com/world/2017/apr/07/truck-crashes-in-central-stockholm-sweden

This is a particularly awful form of attack because there's no real way to pre-empt it.

Yeah, sometimes as I'm crossing a street I think, one of those cars could just decide not to obey the rules and decide to crash into us. Especially since the Bourke St mall attack in Melbourne. Of course, that wasn't apparently terrorism cos the dude was drugged up and a criminal, or something.

The only cars are driving slowly, delivery cars. So people walk in the middle of the street. It is very central and frequented by natives as well as tourists.
