We've not got any plans yet as I don't know whether I'll be able to get out or not or what the rest of the family is. As we have an oven now it would be nice to do it here I guess. That said, my mum does do a nice Christmas dinner

No no no ... I am sure that the supermarkets will have their trees up soon enough.
Our local TEsco takes theirs down on Christmas Eve. How odd is that?

It's never too early to start looking for cat-proof Christmas trees. No luck so far...

If that lasts longer than 5 seconds, you must have well-trained cats!

Or old and lazy cats.

It's just lights and a few baubles, they are not easily impressed or excited by such silliness.

Baubles were great cat toys last year

Yeah, most of our baubles were scattered around the house by the time we took the tree down

At least this time round I didn't discover Tinker sitting at the top of the tree, having displaced the topper. It is cute, but I'd rather he didn't tip it over.

I suspect we'll be doing the usual, but I'm not going to plan until after Sinterklaas.

We are planning to spend Christmas at Frank's parents' place in Birmingham again, but still need to book flight tickets. We might try Ryan Air to Stansted this year and then take a coach to Birmingham if we can arrange that from Bremen.

We're definitely going to be in Birmingham again. And not going with Ryan Air. I'm just hoping the luggage will arrive with us this time.
