It seems that Boris has decided to resign as Foreign Minister.
Also, the chief Brexit negotiator, David Davis, has also resigned.
There are evidently open calls for a 'vote of no confidence' for May from the Tory benches.
If there is a vote of no confidence that floats, do we just get a change in faces, or a full-out election?

I don't know .. I am still trying to work out what the resignation means. Brexiters are furious with May for going with a soft Brexit - whatever the fuck that is. I am a bit worried that the Tory opposition might form around Boris and he might make a run for leadership. Ugh.

To be honest, I don't know what Boris would offer that could be worse than May.
I have my fingers crossed on another election, one in which the Tories are trampled definitively.

Labour is shackled by rank and file Brexiteers who want to leave because they're racist so I'm not hoping for an election just yet. I want the Tory party to fail miserably and at the same time the racist leavers to admit they got it badly wrong. With a bit of luck we can then look forward to a long term of Labour Party rule.

That is the elephant in the room - the majority of people who voted Brexit - not all - are racists. Some of them admit it at least to themselves. Some of them would deny it to the death. But it's still true. We might as well just have had a referendum on whether nasty brown people should be thrown out of the country.

I read that May wanted a "hard Brexit" but now she wants a "soft Brexit"? A soft Brexit seems to mean still the same trade but no bloody foreigners coming to work in Britain. So the racists should be satisfied.

So the racists should be satisfied. I'm not sure Europe would agree to that. Intrinsic to membership of the free trade area is the free movement of people. Teresa May wants to limit immigration but I don't think she can. Only a hard Brexit will allow that. It seems the referendum has been hugely damaging to the UK and has got very little.
