Gooooolllllleeeee....
It sure looks like we're going to have a lot of new information on the Mueller investigation. Whee! Gifts to unwrap and savor.
So, the Flynn sentencing recommendations came down with a 'go light' request and lots of appreciation and redactions. Lots of redactions, with hints of three separate criminal investigations for which Flynn was able to provide "timely eyewitness testimony". Yes!
Manafort is evidently being fed to the wolves as a useless piece of shit. So, we all think he's angling for a pardon. I suspect he will be tarred and feathered before he gets that pardon.
Cohen goes up for sentencing, too. He evidently wants to walk away unscathed, no time, but there seems to be a lot of resistance from the prosecutorial staff, and the shitgibbon. I'm betting he does time, but it will be 'soft time' at one of the federal 'country club' pens.
It's Mueller Time, baby!
Mueller Christmas, everybody!

Trump's obviously worried, given the insane level of tweeting today, including a 5-tweet tirade about Mueller! I really don't see an innocent person acting this way!

What are the realistic chances of him being in real trouble, not just wriggling out of it/

Well, I know a lot of folks who think he's in a lot of trouble, already.
But as to whether he will face consequences commensurate with his crimes...we'll have to see how it plays out.
Remember what happened when Nixon stepped down? I'm hoping that Pence is sufficiently entangled as to prevent him from doing a blanket pardon.
Of course, sans pardon, once he is out of office, he is fair game for any kind of prosecution for his crimes.

His Twitter is, I expect, a stream of waiting libel cases, waiting to happen! He makes the most terrible, unfounded accusations on there like he's entitled to say what he likes about anyone, without consequences!

Can a sitting President not be sent to jail then?

That is the current political understanding. He first must be removed from office. That is what the whole 'impeachment' and 'trial' is about. The impeachment is basically an indictment specifying high crimes and misdemeanors committed by the official and is a product of the House of Representatives. The impeached official is then turned over to the Senate, where the official stands trial on the misdeeds specified by the impeachement. If a supermajority (66 votes) of the Senate vote to convict, then the official is removed from office and may then be tried in the appropriate court for their crimes. The latter will probably never occur because of political intrusion in the form of a pardon (see Ford re: Nixon) would prevent it.
