I know I am eating too much take out right now which is extravagant but what the hell, we're all gonna die soon anyway and I got fifty dollars of work yesterday that I was not expecting, so I've ordered curry. Who wants? I've got a lamb madras on the way but you can have anything you like

Ooh, a lamb madras. I can't get a lamb madras at any of the supermarkets that do deliveries.

Well what about calling a curry from a local curry house?

When I got round to eating I did have leftovers ... but not the curry.

What did you have? I've disovered a local lady who makes and distributes all kind of food - delivery one pound- for very cheap. Just had a fanastic full roast beef dinner for 4.50. And half the curry is in the freezer

Can you get curry there?

Not easily. The last time I had a really good curry was 3 years ago in a restaurant...

I should check to see if my favourite vegetarian curry place is open. Yes, it's open for take out! *makes plans for this evening*

There are times when I would love a vegetarian curry but it's such a rare speciality in the UK (at least in my area), that we get only a limited choice. Restaurants and curry houses love meat and offer vegetarian dishes only out of protest.

Yum!
When I was in India, veg was the usual. If you wanted meat, it was called "non-veg".
That said, I did enjoy the meat dishes in India.

I suppose anything can taste good if the sauce is good enough but I do prefer the texture of meat.

Sometimes.

Only sometimes? What about those other times? What is it then?

Possibly ... a thick gravy?

I don't think I've seen a thick curry sauce. Thick like gravy, that is.
I have seen curry paste, but I'm under the impression that such was to make a much thinner gravy, called a sauce.
I think there is much ambiguity in the gravy/sauce horizon. It is somehow a spectrum?
