ust realized I had never posted anything on our "new generation" of guinea-pigs that we got from an animal shelter in 2018: Flash, Oreo and Ginger. Flash must be around 5 years old now (born at some point in 2015 was all they could say) while Oreo and Ginger are a little over two years old. And the great thing is that, so far, they have never had any health problems. Our first generation had plenty of them - diarrhea, wonky teeth that had to be cut regularly, heart problems, kidney problems, cancer. We loved them all dearly, but it's nice that our new generation of piggies is so far completely healthy. They like sniffing our little guy's fingers and seem to be more tame and relaxed with him than with us. He loves them and these days, we can teach him more about the guinea pigs.
The only problem is now that we could really use the space they take up, it's quite a lot at our small place. But we will definitely not get rid of them, am just wondering if there is a possibility to design a different kind of cage that takes up less space.

Me too!
As to space .. can you do something that goes up a wall, perhaps?
