No food is not good. Are you able to swallow smoothies? You need nutrition. And yes, of course, medical advice asap. Could Col phone the NHS helpline? You can do it on behalf of someone else.

It's just a thought but standing up (not walking around, just standing still) might help your digestion and help you to not be queasy. And maybe holding on to a chair to stop yourself falling over (serious suggestion).

They recommend biscuits and custard for pregnant women. And crackers. It worked for me (not the crackers, those made me gag). Cola helped too, but that's one that works for some people and aggravates the nausea for others. It might work for regular nausea as well?
