But to be honest I don't have many things to share here because I have people closer in my life who can easily relate to what I have to say. That's not to say you guys are not still important to me, but for example the issues I'm facing with the education of my girls are more easily discussed with my friend who knows the Dutch educational system, has kids who are also gifted and facing issues in the same age range. Same goes for my ongoing health issues.

Would like to write more on here, but I often find it hard to keep up something like a social life. Throughout the past three years, we have been getting ill a lot throughout autumn and winter and work keeps me busy on top of that, and somehow that has been hard on my social life. There is a lot I could say, but I'd need the energy to sit down and write.

Not sure. I had one, at least a little. But being ill all the time made it pretty much impossible to meet people outside my job.

I haven't really socially recovered from the pandemic. Reaching out to others, even virtually, feels a lot more difficult now than it did before. That might change for me now that I'm retired though. I can't rely on casual social connections anymore
