That pirate smiley was showing on mine before! Does anyone know why images keep coming up as just [image] so often recently? It shows if I right-click on it and do "View image".

To return to Star Trek for a bit, I am shortly going to watch one of my all time favourite double episodes; Future's End from series 3 of Voyager. It is one of the few ST doubles that would have made a really good movie. It has a really cracking plot (IMHO) and could stand alone from the series as a whole.

I'd be happy to go with that assessment.

I have watched this umpteen times and this is the first time I realised that the hippy at the beginning was Henry Starling. Bit slow.

To return to Scrabble for a bit, I just played an 87 point move. Just had to share.

But now there has been no reply for a while and I feel much as Sheldon did in a recent Big Bang Theory Episode:

Heh, no, just BEWARES, but also completed WITS + triple letter E, triple word score and an extra 35 points for using all my tiles.

Eek, not in the game you're playing with me? No, 44 is bad enough.

No, not with you, and I won't be catching up to your score in this game, rematch? I think I mostly have been getting lucky with some sets of tiles today, and I have also been getting the hang of the game. Scored 91 a few minutes ago.

91!? Well done. Yes, a rematch would be good.

Played my final tile and you won. I doubt I will have the luck in subsequent games as the last couple. As demonstrated by my initial set of abysmal tiles.
And now back to the exciting exploits of your regular Star Trek programming.

I had good tiles but I've used them all up.

Are you all playing scrabble against each other?

On facebook, it's called Words With Friends.
I have nothing but bad letters in all my games today. Or maybe I am the common denominator? But no, unpossible!

It's nature's way of telling you to spend less time on FB and more time here.

I'm playing Words With Friends with Miisa and Thingy at the moment. You're welcome to play, Kaylee, if you've time.

My problem is I don't know most people's Facebook names, just their real ones here (except you, "Steve"). Thingy is Ellen-Ann, right? If so, I am playing her too, and Alex.

Why is it that in ST they often confuse species and race. Species differentiates between beings from different worlds: Human, Klingon, Vulcan etc. Race is a sub-division of a species yet ST writers often use race instead of species. Very strange. Certainly not logical.

I wonder if a proper alien came along, with tentacles and such things, whether people would start to see other humans as more like them, as they'd have something more different to discriminate against.
