Will you all stop having birthdays so close together?! There's not a Scotch egg to be found in the whole of the North West!

Yeah, with no facebook to remind us how are we supposed to keep up! June is a popular month tough as I seem to have one non EF friend for every EF friend having a birthday too.
Happy birthday JoePeeee!

Thanks all! Happy birthday to me! I have had bacon with my breakfast, visited Prior Park Landscape Garden, had a picnic in the Parade Gardens, and - after driving back to London - had champagne and presents and dinner with the family. The only downside was queuing on the M25 due to a breakdown in a reduced-width roadworks section ... which the radio said was causing delays of an hour ... detouring ... then detouring from the detour.

I get caught off-guard for the non-facebookers! "Non-facebooker." Hmm. I feel marginalised and discriminated against. Like "non-whites", or "guest workers". Conscientious objectors. Non-believers.

Happy birthday, Joe! (Even though you're a non-facebooker.) *looks disdainful*

I have an account on FaceBook and Twitter, but I don't really use them much at all. Which camp am I in?

If your birthday is marked down in FB, you count as a facebooker. But if you don't check birthday wishes over there, blame yourself.

If your birthday is marked down in FB, you count as a facebooker. But do I? What if my birthday is listed on fb but I haven't friended or poked (wonders if these are actual facebook terms) anyone for years? I have a bunch of fb birthday wishes in my email from people I haven't spoken to in ages.

Is "friend" the right term though, if you haven't spoken to them in years and they haven't spoken to you except for a birthday wish?

You are not my FB friend therefore you might as well not exist there. *sulks*

I have decided to leave my birthday blank on my FB. Not that I mind people knowing how old I am, but I have some 'friends' on FB who are not exactly my friends (some are friends of friends), I don't want to bother them with my birthday reminder, and in fact, I don't really celebrate my birthday. It's just another day: I cherish each day of my life and am thankful for being alive

I logged into my FaceBook account while up at Moose's a couple of weeks back and she sent out a heap of friend requests on my behalf. I wouldn't have guessed a few of who people were on the two systems, but most I'd not have bothered with because I log in so infrequently it's almost no point. Apart from accepting the friend request, about 95% of my contact list has done nothing else of interest. If you want to be offended, I believe some people round here are members of other forums!!!!

Oh that doesn't offend me. I used to be a member of other forums. Now I just hang out here. I'm a forum isolationist.
