If we're going to be patriotic, we only need yellow, red and black to represent the royal family! ;D (The Royal family are of German descent.)

I don't like some brands, others are great. Black sausage, then?

Black sausage, red ham, yellow mustard. All good Germanic products.

Are there any Finnish black foods?

We also have black sausage, blood pacakes, and liquorice, but salmiak is a Finnish speciality. Salty liquorice.
Don't really care much for any of them. I prefer black tea.

I'm sure Pica sufferers could add to that list; or do their views on what is food not count?

If we're going to be patriotic, we only need yellow, red and black to represent the royal family! ;D Ah, well, you see, that's not strictly accurate within the meaning of the Pedantry Regulations (1867). Those three colours are those of the modern German republic not of the former German Monarchy, which were Black Red and White. Black is the colour of Prussia and the UK royalty connections are to Hannover and Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. Hannover's colours were red and white whereas SCG were green and white. So the correct answers are red, white and green. Therefore the correct party foods are tomatoes, celery and lettuce.

I am sorry: I should have made clear that I was referring to Schedule (iv) of the General Provisions Order (Section 2) under the title of the said Regulations.

I am sure everyone is now fascinated now you've clarified that! Are we going to start a sweepstake on how many days before one of the newspapers suggest the baby doesn't look like William?
