Well, on the page I use for EF, right at the top, just on the lowest part of the EF banner, there are a list of links across, which read: "Home Help Search Calendar Members Profile Bookmarks Messages" Just underneath this list is the indicators of what I am currently using, but that is outside of the banner and terminates in the right side of the page, just before the "Participated" button. That "Bookmarks" link, when clicked, shows a single EF thread which somehow was placed there for later retreival...I know not how, but would like to. These are NOT browser links, but board links. I don't want to bookmark EF on my browser (as I don't need to), I want to bookmark threads within EF. I don't have that "bookmark" link on any of my pages under the banner, so I can't comment on that. We are showing you a workaround for your initial OP problem that actually does work with the browser bookmark, whether you want to use that and make browsing easier is up to you.

What I did was go to the new posts page europeforum.freeforums.net/threads/recentAnd while on that page, right click your mouse, and I have a bit saying "add to favourites". Click on that and viola, you have the new posts as a bookmark on your browser.

Don't you? europeforum.freeforums.net/bookmarksYou can bookmark a thread via the Actions V dropdown menu in the bar at the top of the thread (the one that refuses to scroll off the screen thus annoying Col . You can also set the board to bookmark every thread you post in ... although I can't find the place where you do that at the moment...

Ha! It been replaced by "Admin", which I, of course, do not have.
And, JoeP has the best answer!!!! My inquiry has now been answered to my satisfaction.
That is what I wanted to know, Joe. Thanks.

Now...I've found the Personal data (under 'Profile' and then 'Edit Profile' and then 'Personal') and it has the correct gender indicated, but I still don't get the dandy little gender icon under my avatar.
How to I remedy that?

No. As soon as you add a bookmark, you get a bookmark tab.

Yes, they have used the term in a confusing way. If a reply is made to a thread "bookmarked" in the forum, a notification will show there. It also allows you to go to chosen threads, which is perfectly feasible with a regular bookmark in the browser (and faster). As I look at pretty much all threads, this is very pointless in my case.
I leave the labels on in my browser, otherwise I'd have made identical items there. If I need groups, I add a folder (as shown in my screengrab), which then opens vertically with full descriptions. This leaves space for hundreds, a maximum of two clicks away.
