Moving between countries keeps you busy too.
I did a hell of an improvement on my bridge connecting the paddock to the home base though. Three arches it has and doesn't look half bad. Got the idea from a picture I saw, much better than the straight slab of stone I had looming over the water.

Hi Ronald, is there a chance to see you Minecraft world? Franek has an account and he keeps asking about you. He would be thrilled to see what you have built

I have no idea tbh. I play single player, not on any server or anything. I have no idea if that would be accessible in any way from outside... I play these things, the computer wizardry around it is faaar over my head. 6 foot 3 and everything. I just had a flaming row with Windows 8, but managed to figure out what would happen to my in-game screenshots. I can now find them and see if I can post some stuff here perhaps?

Erm... Edit: Ok that seems to have worked. heh, what you see here is the game as you play it. The bottom row sort of indicates your toolbelt in a way. The equipment you made and this way quickly available to you in game. Left to right: Sword, bow, stone pickaxe, iron pickaxe, iron shovel, 2 pieces of zombie flesh, stone axe, cooked chicken, 40 torches. The bow has an bold square around it, indicating that is in your right hand. You see the bow on screen on the right too. In front, you see three pieces of equipment you can craft (create) in game and place in the world. A storage chest, oven/furnace and most importantly, the crafting bench. Attachments:

And here is the bridge I mentioned. Made with stone brick, stone brick stairs, slabs and fences for the wooden railings. Not too shabby I would say. Attachments:

And here the lighthouse I made in the earlier world. Sandstone and red wool. I would advise baked clay now that it exists. Wool breaks easily and a small mishap with the lava on top proved conclusively that it catches fire too. Yikes. And a bit closer. Attachments:

And the underground cavern I dug out, placed glass blocks in the shape I wanted and installed a lava stream behind it. That took a bit of work and planning, but certainly a cool effect. The second one shows the 'behind the scenes', with the length of lava flow behind the wall top of the wall. Attachments:

I am not sure I understand the "technical terms" well. But Franek would certainly know what it's about. He has been reading 2 Minecraft handbooks that I bought him.

Today I spent a bit of time adding a lookout tower to my current home base. Works good as a homing beacon if I lose my sense of direction in the forest again. Although I found out I built my base on a relatively small peninsula, so there's a limit to how far I can wander off before hitting ocean. Making it out of fences was pretty cool. It really worked imo. Attachments:

Looks pretty awesome as a rollercoaster though. You can build those, no loopings iirc and you need a fair amount of materials to gather. Not to mention working at heights. Is he playing in Creative mode perhaps? That makes quite the difference in a number of ways. I play in Survival, which drops you into a pre-made semi-realistic landscape, I think in Creative you get basically a flat plane, and every block you want at your disposal. You can really go full Lego in that. Never tried it, so not sure. The second link shows some buildings in the background, they look pretty well made. Can we get a closer look at those perhaps?

The colours are all thanks to my flower garden. Travelled around a fair bit to collect them. Still need cacti for green, but can make that with blue and yellow I think. Attachments:

Yes, thanks, Genie, I can see them now. They're all pretty interesting but I confess, I'm not really with it (ie don't understand).

There is Survival, Creative, Hardcore and, with commands, Adventure ( /gamemode adventure ). The types of worlds are Default, Superflat, with types of layers, Large Biomes and, with 1.7, Amplified."

Yeah, without some notion of what's going on, it's a bit like looking at the inside of someone's home build transistor radio. Suffice to say Franek used sort of like Lego rails and other blocks to create his own powered rollercoaster. Minecraft can supply you with the blocks (quite literally), but you have to design and build for yourself.

Or, you generate your own country with the geographical data available, as Denmark has done.
Hilarious.
