I get to the bottom of a thread (as you do when reading posts) and there's no navigation options there. No thread pages to select, no front page to click on. Just badly selected ' related' threads and some advertisement. I know I could use keyboard keys and that actually might be a good reason to get the hang of those, but I'm a lazy bastard too, so not likely to happen any time soon.
Would a change of skin get to those perhaps?

In my skin I have a floating bar which shows more pages. Not sure about other options.

It's a weirdness but some of us have completely adapted (can't speak for Alvamiga). At the top of the screen, if you've scrolled down a bit, or below the thread title if you haven't, you'll see << Prev 1 2 3 (pages) Next >>> ......................... Actions V Search O Use those buttons.

Aw bugger, you are right.
I always ended up all the way at the bottom or all the way to the top (although the normal ones are there) and there they disappear. But slightly up they are... Sneaky sneaky.
Good stuff, cheers.

No board buttons though and those actions are rather limited.

I have already told him and shown him. But he never listens. Well sometimes he listens. But most of the time he doesn't listen. I have to prod him several times and even then he doesn't listen. He's very good at being absorbed.

That means you actually listened enough to process you were being addressed.

It's a skill that we (the male members of a partnership) learn after a few months.

Oh no, this is a skill he's had all his life. He just get so involved in his book or game that he doesn't understand anything is happening around him. You have to sometimes call and shake him several times before he even notices. His mum says he's been like that since a kid.

Besides, why stay with your partner if you don't want to listen to them?

Yah, bit of an old boring trope that one. I am actually perfectly capable of complete unresponsiveness to non-partners of the male persuasion. More than happily too.
My mum's younger brother played death metal in his room, playing air guitar, while I read his comics with my back against one of the speakers. Not sure if it could be a super power.

For reasons I will not get into, I had to update Firefox on my Laptop this week and, as a result lost all of my add-ons (not FF's fault, just me doing major overhauls). At home, I have started work on a Greasemonkey script to deal with the problems with the new version of the forum. I am currently not blocking the forum scripts, but I very much do not like the floating bar and the detrimental effect all this stuff has on performance. Work will resume on my return...

Yes! Stop blackmailing or we will ban you from the forum!

I'm not blackmailing! JoeP is trying to pressure me into blackmailing. Maybe he just wants the cake for himself.

Withholding cake from those that do not deserve it is not blackmail! If, by some side-effect, myself and JoeP happen to get some cake left over as a result, then that is just a coincidence (hopefully a chocolatey one).

Put coconut flakes on the cake and he will shy from it like a vampire from garlic.

I mean, I don't think any sort of blackmailing is very nice. DG not listening to you is not very nice either. Blackmail is a necessary evil; a means to an end; a small sacrifice for a great gain. If it works.

I'm gonna put coconut on the cakes so it's not use trying to get some.

Well, not in this context anyway.
