SPLENDID.
She will grace you with the sight of her form when she's ready. Or when she deems you're ready.

Having fun?
I thought I was losing my sanity - again!
Did I really bring another cat into this house ?
She's driving me bonkers!

I had to dismantle the side part of the cover for the pipes in the downstairs toilet when Tink was a few days here. He got in there among the pipes, but of course could not get out!
He still sticks his nose in there, but his body no longer fits!

Well I haven't seen hide nor hair of her since Wednesday night. On Friday I decided I had had enough. I could no longer keep the back door closed to Chunky. He was unable to get out and, as he is not used to a litter tray, and enjoys taking a dump in the garden, it just wasn't fair on him. Besides the house was filling up with cat sh1t. Today I had a word with the people at the cat borstal. They suggest enclosing Chunky in the kitchen tonight and putting small bowls of food around the house to see if Trixie is still in the house. Somehow I doubt it.

That doesn't sound good. Somehow, I think guinea-pigs are less complicated.

Might not necessarily be the case. I lost Molly several times and really thought she was gone but she came back. Is she chipped?

So yesterday I went back to the cat borstal. It was generally agreed that, despite best intentions, I had been stuck with a cat that wasn't ready for re-homing. The upshot was I came home with a new cat who's name is Mrs. Slocombe. She's still a bit shy but she has already discovered the joy of the back bedroom. Attachments:

Things are a bit tense between Chunky and Mrs. Slocombe at the moment. It will take time but she seems to like the house. I've been able to give her quite a bit of fuss and she is eating well. I'm so relieved. Chunky is a lot happier that's for sure.
