Tantalizing. If it works, I'm in like Flint. If not, I will have treats the girls will really appreciate.

Murray has decided to join us in the main floor entertainment areas. He has ventured beyond the bath and now will suffer the presence of hoomins within sight, although, if startled, he will still scamper for cover. He has been seen following Cleo around and has taken a distinct liking to the vast numbers of 'donut beds' (comfy round cat beds just the right size for one adult cat) and seems to be touring the lot to determine which is most comfortable. The one under the guest bed has the most usage so far, but he has not even found the one on the dining room table. Still no hoomin touch since being released in the house about a week ago.
Cleo has established her regnal authority and is demanding that doors be opened....particularly the one to the upstairs and the one outdoors to the balcony. She is also quite the chatty cat and adds vocal command demands to her clear body language. She claims pets and laps as it suits her wont. She is firmly in control.
Hopefully, I'll get some decent pix in the next couple of days.

it's good that the two of them seem to be at least tentatively getting along, anyway

it's good that the two of them seem to be at least tentatively getting along, anyway No 'tentative' at all...they get along. As I was hoping, Cleo has served as an excellent diversion to draw Murray out into the open. He follows her around.
