Have you spoken to your pocket? My pocket says it's going to be cold and wet tomorrow. I think it's been checking the weather forecast.

My pocket doesn't speak. Somehow I feel like I've been left out.

You need to go look in Countdown to fully appreciate the wit of this comment.

I don't know, it doesn't tell me in advance what it's going to do. I wish it would

No new snow this morning, so all that is left is a few random patches. It is above freezing; barely.

Sunny and cold.
ETA: Improving to sunny and quite nice. Not really 'warm' but comfortable enough for me to work in shirtsleeves, without a jacket. Normally, this would be hoody season.
As ever, when I turned off the heat in the house because I was going to open the balcony doors, the outdoor temperature showed at 47 F (~ 8 C), whereas the shaded thermometer on the balcony shows 64 F (~16 C). That's the differential of the shady north side and the sunny south side.

It's raining. Last night it was a bit stormy, but the wind has calmed down a lot.

'Tis cold, but dry. It looks clear and blue, but the shadows are still long.

Nb: why has this thread been stickied? Heh...And not just in the part of the list. Every subfora has the weather sticky at the head. We had this happen once before. Nobody knew how it happened. Or, why it happened. Which, of course, assured that all suspicion fell upon the Moose. This is a job for the administrators. Don your spandex bodysuits and rush to the aid of innocents!

Miserable weather. It has been snowing all day long at about 3 C. The accumulation is slight and mooshy. The streets have been clear, but it is miserable to go out in to because it is wet, with large, slushy flakes coming down. If it cools down at nightfall, and this continues, we could get some nasty road conditions.
I'm happy to be indoors, safe and warm, as I binge on a set of 'American Gods' videos a friend passed on to me. I need hot chocolate, but I'm out.

Over the weekend the weather was so hot it was just about unbearable. It had been 38 degrees for four or five days in a row, with the nighttime temps staying in the 30s and only dropping to lows of 25 degrees around 6am - just before the sun came up and heated it all again. I barely slept. The cats were sleeping in the bathtub. 3 days later it's an icy 10 degrees in the morning and barely reaching 20 degrees!

I'm quite tired of having cold feet. I'm ready for a modest warming trend.

We had snow again yesterday, although so short-lived that it was gone by the time I took Honey out. Some early risers had made small snowmen here and there, which was odd to see without snow on the ground.
