I've just cycled 45 minutes in rain and 30mph winds, although most of it is in the cycle route in an old railway cutting. Storm George, apparently!

It's going to be very windy in Whitehaven tonight. Wind gusts of 71mph they say at 11pm.

It's still very windy. The stork in the front garden may fall over...

Hasn't the stork fulfilled its purpose? Why is it waiting around?

Honey nearly fell over earlier when out for a walk! I've been out in worse, but am glad to not be!

Windy and rainy, but there was a lull of an hour which we used to walk into town. To town?
Re: the stork, we had an empty nest until our girl arrived and once she was born the stork was placed on the nest. The entire thing will be removed next week.

It dawned cool, clear, and dry. It looks promising.
A check of the forecast says we may reach 19-20 C today. Woooooo-hoooo! My favorite temps.
Time to climb in to the overalls.

Over the weekend the weather in Melbourne was perfect. Naturally I missed it as I was away in Lennox Head where the weather was not so perfect. It was still very warm, and probably good it was overcast otherwise it would've been too hot. We still beached. But there was a lot of rainy afternoons.

Lovely sunny weather here. The wind has started to settle down finally after 2 weeks of lots of wind as well.

The temperature in Tel Aviv is weird. The sun is hot but the air is quite cool. I end up feeling hot and cold at the same time.

After a day of dry rain, it looks like the really nice weather will make a return engagement.
Clear, dry, and cool this morning, but it looks like it will pan out well.
ETA: That was a misbegotten forecast. The overcast rolled in late morning and now it is raining. Crap....

It was rainy and overcast all morning so we ditched our plans to go out to the Yarra Valley for some nice countryside time and wineries and lunch. Now it's glorious sunshine and supposed to be 30 today.

It's rainy and floody, but not in the immediate vicinity. I cannot visit my family, though, as the Missouri appears to be barfing all over them.

'Floody'? Isn't that a chronic condition there along the Mississippi/Missouri river valleys?

Post by jayme on Mar 24, 2019 3:14:00 GMT
Um...it's extra floody. 1993 floody. They call them 500-year floods because they happen every 26 years, right?
