Today is sunny, with little wind and warm enough to walk into town in a T shirt. About 16°C.

Where we're going on holiday, the temperature is a low of 23 and a high of 27 every day.

When I was working in Accra, Ghana, it was 29° high and 27° low. It's by the ocean and pretty near the equator.

I'm curious as to what the humidity is like in these places. Like, Barcelona touts similar kinds of climatic conditions, but I know from personal experience of others that it is a dreadfully humid and uncomfortable place at those temperatures. 'By the ocean' does not always bring freshening sea breezes, like so many like to think.

It was air-conditioned in the office and the guest house and the taxis between, so my memory of outdoors conditions is limited. I don't think it was super-humid, and of course it was "only" 29° - I was able to walk around, wander along the beach such as it is.

They have glass booths outside the ATMs, whether for security or protection from the elements I don't know, but it was definitely muggier inside them ... and they tended to be full of sluggish mosquitoes.

Cool morning, blissful afternoon.
I smell somebody else's barbecue.
Definitely an open door day.

I went out today - second time since the first week of December. I did not go very far - just up and down the road on my own. But it was nice. I saw - people. I nodded and smiled. The air smelled good. It was warm. I must try it again sooner rather than later.

Usually these places are pretty humid. Though end of April is getting into the "winter" months for Hamilton Island. And it's mid north coast so probably a bit cooler. When we get up to Port Douglas, I expect higher humidity. It's the tail end of wet season, getting into dry.

It's nearing 22 degrees here. Lovely! Though a bit muggy since the wind is warm as well.

30 and sunny today. The weather is certainly being contrary this April. One day winter, the next day summer.

It is very warm here. Both me and my girl are stripped down to our undies. Don't worry, we're behind the house in the shade. No one will see us there.

Nobody will see you unless they're flying a drone....
We had such a problem a year or so back with a real estate company taking drone pics, and accidentally capturing a photo of a woman sunbathing naked in her backyard.

Oooo...It's gonna be a beaut today.
Blue skies with big puffy white clouds drifting ever so slowly.
But, the scheduled massage is the first order of the day. Who knows if I'll be interested in gardening after that....

Blue skies, puffy clouds, almost no wind, yet not too warm. Perfect for walking if my blisters would allow me to go further than the supermarket.

Cool and rainy here, but some flowers are starting to show! The temperatures at night are still hovering around freezing or below so the only flowers appearing are the hardy ones.

Same difference.
'Tis damp.
It's back to being on command doorman for the felines.
After a decent run of nice days, the interlude seems to have fallen on Caturday. The promise is for more shirtsleeve gardening weather this coming week. I'll cool my heels today.
Downshifting from pottering to dottering. Sloth & indolence!

It's back to the open-door, heat off, in-bib, iced tea kinda day.
I'm indoors taking a break and feeding one of the local crows with the remnants of Thursday's sandwich.

'Tis a wonderfully glorious Beltaine!
Bright blue skies, warm, dulcet breezes, lots of sun, and perfect temperatures.
Hooray, hooray, the first of May! Outdoor...uh...yeah.

Rather crisp and cool here today. It's kinda nice after the tropics. Everything is damp from there.
WG, I think somewhere like Hamilton Island you'd be fine, particularly in winter. There was definitely a very pleasant, not humid sort of tempartaure while we were there end of April. If you were there in July/August it would be lovely and cool and not too hot at all. Port Douglas was more humid and warm, but again in winter I think you'd find it tolerable. But they're still far enough away from the equator to have that change over winter. We were in Ho Chi Minh in winter, and it was horribly hot and humid.

Hmmm...Today, the high temperature is slated to be in the realm of 27 C. Rumors are that by Friday, we will be flirting with 34 C high temperatures.
Our first 'heat wave' and it's only the second week of May.
