As I presume is common at this sort of things, a lot of people brught photos to my dad's wake. Fascinating, some of them, going back to the turn of the twentieth century. I love looking at old pictures even if I do not know the people in them... I like the fashions and the cars and the incidental things that you can see in the backgrounds.

I have sat through too many photo sessions of my grandfather where we were not allowed to leave till we'd seen them all. It really doesn't do anything for me and I hate having to sit down while someone is tripping on a trip down memory lane.

Heh depends if you like that sort of thing or not I guess I find old pictures interesting in themselves, just for the sociological aspect

My cousin posted some old pics of me and some of my family on my facebook page. It was weird. I'm not sentimental at all about those kinds of things.

I was interested in what I saw of the photos, even though I didn't have a clue who most of the people in them were. It took me a fair chunk of the day to work out who some of the people around me were on its own!

Pictures don't do much for me in general, but sitting through a session with hundreds of photos is too much for me. A couple old pictures I'll still be interested in, especially those showing surroundings.

I like old photos of people and things I know. But I'm not keen on old photos of things or people that I have no connection with.

It's just fascinating to see what people are wearing, their expressions, the background. To wonder what they were thinking and what they'd think if they could see me, eighty years on, looking at their images
