Have been busy taking care of my two sick men. There hasn't been much sleep.

I don't know how you can function with a lack of sleep. It must have been like that when Richard was a baby but I just don't remember.

I'm still in Montreal, but my daughter Laurence has moved to Kamouraska! (But she's staying with me for the next month until the school term ends.)

'Flu'? Like influenza flu? Which one? There are well over one hundred distinct types of influenza viruses.

We had the night from hell with a baby that just wouldn't sleep. Every 2 hours she would wake up, cry a river and then fall back asleep only to start all over again.

'Flu'? Like influenza flu? Which one? There are well over one hundred distinct types of influenza viruses. No idea because he says he can't get himself to a doctor. He's been in a bad state for 6 days now and is not improving at all. Phoned a doctor on Sunday night who said mu husband shouldn't make such a fuss about it and get himself there if he wanted help.

Phoned a doctor on Sunday night who said mu husband shouldn't make such a fuss about it and get himself there if he wanted help. That's ridiculous if he's too ill to attend the surgery. Do they want him to spread his germs to all the other patients?

Don't know. Maybe they thought he had the man-flu. As in a slightly runny nose and thinking he was on his deathbed.

That sounds like a really bloody wonderful GP Wasn't our gp, but one of the emergency gps one is supposed to call when regular gps aren't open. Quite a few people in our situation would just have phoned an ambulance and asked to be taken to the emergency room which is what one is not supposed to do. And we tried to do things the correct way and this is what we got.
