On Christmas day, that the world would be in this position by April, did we?

What do we expect it to be like for Christmas 2020?
I think, in most countries, things will still be far from normal. For example, I don't expect pubs will be open any time before 2021.
Church services? Perhaps, but singing carols will be difficult with everyone wearing masks.

I think pubs will be open - or maybe they won't, I dunno. But the world will be a sobered place, literally and metaphorically.

Church services? Perhaps, but singing carols will be difficult with everyone wearing masks. Church services are on the calendar with a question mark. I doubt if we will have any carol singing.

No idea what will happen here. Things are more complicated for our church since they share a building with several congregations and it belongs to the German congregation. Last year the service was in a room downstairs while the German service was in the main haal upstairs, but I doubt that will be a possibility this year.

Carol singing on Zoom doesn't have the same atmosphere.

We have never sung together on Zoom.

We sing together (supposedly) on our Facebook-enabled services. Not me, my voice is croaking these days.
